For the last time, the venue this year was Llandre Farm, Pumsaint, by kind permission of Mr & Mrs Huw Davies. Our thanks go to Mr & Mrs Davies for their support over the last eleven years in allowing us to hold the event at Llandre. Over  150 shearers from all over the world competed including previous and future World Champions. For the first time we welcomed shearers from all over Europe, USA and Australia as well as the usual contingent from New Zealand. This year included the first of the four offical International tests between the best shearers in Wales and New Zealand.
